History of Arbella
In 2011, when Founder Brenda Campbell set out to build a quality solution for her clients in the rental property business, she envisioned the need for a rental housing industry leader. A company that operated with the highest integrity and character while delivering world-class services to the residents, property owners, and investors it served. Brenda started her career in corporate accounting and later moved into real estate accounting. After leaving the corporate accounting platform she entered private practice in accounting, this endeavor led to a client portfolio that grew quickly. As an accountant for many investors of rental portfolios, she quickly noticed the need for quality management services and full transparency of all accounting, leasing, and maintenance practices to the owners of the investment portfolios. This is where Arbella Properties Inc was formed.
The name comes from John Winthrop’s ship named Arbella and its voyage to America in the year 1630. The ship was one of four ships and was the Admiral of the four ships. It was the flagship of the Winthrop fleet. Named after Lady Arabella Johnson. As they set sail they were heading for a new beginning. This named seemed very fitting for the company Brenda had envision and the path she was embarking on.
Brenda wanted the focus to be on the people to be served, genuine relationships, and shared values to create a unique and defining culture in the business of property management. It was a new start for her and the clients she would soon serve and the Arbella Team that would soon evolve.
Since conception, Arbella has worked to stay on top of the everchanging rental and investment market as well as always growing new best practices to serve the client’s needs. The Arbella team still operates today with a single common goal, to exceed the clients’ expectations and become their trusted partners.
By working with its clients Arbella and all the staff have been able to combine performance, transparency, and excellence in all its professional partnerships.
While already managing a few small Homeowner Associations, a great need for Association Management Services became apparent in late 2020. Brenda made the decision to expand her services further to meet the needs of this quickly growing and very short-supplied facet of property management. The division has grown quickly and and the team are currently managing 14 Community Associations that include Condominiums, PUDs (Planned Unit Developments) and Residential Home Communities.
In 2022 Arbella Properties Inc merged with Bridge Pointe Real Estate and moved locations from Fall Branch to Johnson City to embark on a new Journey to provide even better service to its clients. Since the merger has continued to grow at a controlled and steady pace adding new agents and multiple full-time staff to the company. During the merger Brenda Campbell stepped away from being the managing broker and Jeff Orr which was already managing broker for Bridge Pointe Real Estate has assumed this
role.
With a winning strategy and a focus on people, Arbella continues to meet that need, guided by the practice of enriching the lives we touch by doing things the right way without waiver of integrity.
Arbella Properties Inc is currently operated in Johnson City TN and still focusing on the people it serves, genuine relationships, and shared values to create a unique and defining culture in the business of property management. Arbella will soon be announcing the newest location in Greeneville, TN and newest broker Becky Rideout. The location was needed to better serve all of our clients in the Greeneville area and open new possibilities for investors in that market.
